As part of our introduction to our inquiry into design
In groups we had to buy materials with our $20. The more protective/cushioning the material was, the more it cost.We talked together about how to keep "our " egg 'safe'.
Here is Ryan and Skye with their finished egg survival "kit".
Accidents do happen!
Here we drop the egg. Will it survive? Did our design we made together, with the materials we brought, help our egg to stay whole?
This is the target site. The triangular box tied with blue string in the foreground was the winning "survival kit" because the girls who "designed" it packed it well with protective material.
Well done Room 19. You must have worked well together to make sure the egg survived.
ReplyDeleteI like how we made an egg survival kit and tested it on the courts. But most of our eggs cracked and I hope we can do it again.
